The Literacy Learning Lab is a professional hub designed for educators who are ready to move beyond 'what' the research says and into 'how' it actually works for students. True instructional expertise happens when the Science of Reading meets the Science of Learning—aligning the mechanics of literacy with how the human brain actually processes and retains information.
Each section of this lab is built to help you master a specific pillar of literacy. From foundational phonics to complex language comprehension, you will find a clear breakdown of the evidence, alongside practical 'Look Fors' and 'Red Flags.' Our goal is to replace guesswork with precision, giving you the tools to see exactly what effective instruction should—and should not—look like in your classroom every single day.
